Welcome to the St Mark’s Institute website. We sincerely hope that you will find the information on this site both interesting and helpful. Here you will find all the information you need about our courses and the way our teaching is delivered by our professional teaching staff.

St Mark’s opened its doors in 1993 and ever since it has become synonymous with high quality teaching, with a high rate of passes; at the Junior Lyceum exams, Common Entrance exams, ‘O’ level subjects, ‘A’ level subjects, ECDL tests and other academic qualifications. Our qualified team of professional teachers and experienced tutors are able to provide excellent academic teaching in a wide range of fields.

At St Mark’s special emphasis is given to the process of teaching and learning. Students are encouraged to learn and discover information and ultimately be successful in their endeavours. In order to achieve this task, we provide our students with all the material and support required. Moreover, we are fully aware of the fact that students need a comfortable cosy environment that stimulates the learning. Therefore, our physical premises have been designed and equipped with all the latest technologies, both in terms of comfort and also in terms of teaching aids. All classrooms are air-conditioned and every single teacher has his/her own set of teaching aids, including resources to help him/her in setting up the right teaching environment.

At St Mark’s we are firm believers that the teaching staff is fundamental for successful private tuition. All members of our teaching staff are University graduates; consequently, they are qualified and motivated. We make sure that at St Mark’s we employ the best teachers, as our expectations reach high.

Periodically, parents and guardians are forwarded with a progress-report sheet indicating the current level of achievement attained by each respective student. If they deem necessary, parents can also fix an appointment to discuss this report either with the subject teacher concerned or with the principal.

Finally but not least, at St Mark’s you will get all the necessary individual attention you deserve. Our groups are limited in the number of participants so as to ascertain and guarantee individual attention. We strongly believe that our students shall be given all the attention needed that motivates them to continue to strive further in their studies. Our teaching staff is more than willing to assist all students in all their difficulties and queries!
